Horizons Fall Fest is our free, family-friendly community event at Camp Horizons — a full day of fall fun that brought out 300+ families last year and is growing for 2026. Guests will spend the afternoon enjoying pumpkin archery, pumpkin decorating, friendship bracelet making, bounce castles, a petting zoo, and a lineup of local vendors, all set against the backdrop of camp in autumn. Admission is free, the event runs rain or shine, and it's the kind of crowd that comes hungry and stays for hours which is where you come in. This year, food trucks are our main food service on-site, and we're looking for a small lineup to serve the crowd on October 11th.
Food truck spaces work a little differently than our general craft and merchandise vendor booths:
- License fee: $50 (covers your assigned outdoor space for the day)
- Limited to 5 trucks total, so spots are first-come, first-served among qualified applicants
- You'll need to provide your own power (generator OK, quiet-running preferred), a valid health department permit, and liability insurance
- We ask about your menu up front so we can keep a good variety across trucks — no two trucks selling the same thing
