High school seniors—it’s your time to lead.

You’ve spent summers here as a camper—trying new things, making friends, and building confidence. Now, as you step into your senior year of high school, it’s time to take the next step: becoming a leader.

Leadership Camp is a four-week program designed for rising high school seniors (or international campers of equivalent age) who have previously attended Camp Horizons. The focus is on leadership training, hands-on teaching, outdoor adventure, and developing life skills that last long after the summer. And of course, there’s still plenty of classic camp fun — from swimming and campfires to games and unforgettable memories with friends.

And yes, it looks amazing on a résumé or college application.

Why Follow When You Can Lead?

You won’t just talk about leadership—you’ll live it. By the end of the program, you’ll head home with new confidence, practical skills, and the knowledge that you can step up wherever life takes you next.

Over four weeks, you’ll:

Train with staff mentors and learn what it takes to guide others.
Practice leading real camp activities with younger campers.
Design and run your own activity—created, planned, and led by you.
Build lifelong friendships with other Leadership Campers who share your drive.

Training Areas

Leadership Camp is designed to equip you with the tools, confidence, and experiences necessary to thrive as a leader.

Leadership A: June 21 – July 18
Leadership B: July 19 – August 15
